The GilAir-3 Basic is a robust and reliable air sampling pump designed for accurate collection of air and gas samples. When combined with the Low Flow Constant Flow Module (adjustable from 25 to 500 ml/min), this pump is particularly well-suited for filling Tedlar bags and other gas sampling bags.

Application with Tedlar Bags

Simply connect the tubing attached to the air sample bag to the outlet of the pump. The desired flow rate can be adjusted using the Low Flow module. Thanks to the constant flow control, the bag is filled evenly—without overpressure or leakage.

Note: Always use clean, dry, and odor-free air to avoid contamination of the sample.

Automatic constant flow control – the key feature of any sampling pump – comes standard with every GilAir-3. This function ensures that flow remains within ±5% of the initial setpoint, even under varying back pressures due to flow restrictions or filter loading.

    The Nalophan bags are mainly used for odor sampling. The bags are available in the following sizes:

    • 10 liters (per 10 bags)
    • 30 liters (per 5 bags)

    Each bag has a PTFE tube at the end that can be used to fill the bag. The bags are supplied with PTFE caps to close the tubing.

    Devex gas sampling bags with a total of 11 layers of foil (PET, PA, aluminum, PE, etc.). The bags have a thickness of 120-140 µm. They have excellent strength and low permeability. The bags are equipped with a polycarbonate fitting to which a hose with an internal diameter of 1/4″ (6.35 mm) can be connected.
