WETT Waterless Empirical Taste Test
The Waterless Empirical Taste Test™ (WETT®) from manufacturer Sensonics is an easy and inexpensive method for quantitatively evaluating taste function for up to 25 individuals. The taste strips are supplied in a handy case.
The Waterless Empirical Taste Test consists of 5 different flavors: sweet, sour, salt, bitter and umami. In addition, also blank flavor strips without flavor. You will receive 50 strips of each flavor with which you can test the taste capacity of 25 people in total. The kit will be delivered including an English manual.
Waterless Empirical Taste Test
Delivery of tastants is via plastic strips with proprietary pads of monomer cellulose that are embedded with either sucrose (sweet), citric acid (sour), sodium chloride (salty), caffeine (bitter), monosodium glutamate (umami), or blank tastants. No liquid rinsing is required. 50 strips of each tastants are provided in a hard plastic, portable container.
