The Waterless Empirical Taste Test consists of 5 different flavors: sweet, sour, salt, bitter and umami. Each taste will be delivered in 4 concentrations.

For each taste there are 50 strips, because each concentration will be presented to the test person twice you can test 25 persons and not 50. In total you will receive 50 strips in 4 concentrations of each taste. That means 4 x 50 strips of sweet, sour, bitter, salt and umami. In addition, also blank strips are included for control purposes.

The kit will be delivered including an English manual.

Waterless Empirical Taste Test

Delivery of tastants is via plastic strips with proprietary pads of monomer cellulose that are embedded with either sucrose (sweet), citric acid (sour), sodium chloride (salty), caffeine (bitter), monosodium glutamate (umami), or blank tastants. No liquid rinsing is required. 50 strips of each tastants are provided in a hard plastic, portable container.
