General information
Olfactory-gustatory disorders have always played a secondary role among disorders of the sense organs, although smell and taste play a fundamental role in many aspects of our daily and working life. In recent years, interest in them has grown, not only within the medical community, but also among the general population, both due to recent developments in the pharmacological treatment of nasal polyposis and due to the COVID19 pandemic. The aim of this course is to delve into the etiopathogenetic, diagnostic and therapeutic-rehabilitative aspects of olfactory and gustatory loss, with a particular focus on the implications that it can have on the daily life of each of us and of professionals whose work revolves around their sensory abilities.
