The indicator in the form of an e-hook is used as an aid for visual acuity testing and is particularly suitable for use with preschool children or illiterate children. The so-called Snellen hook is characterized by three bars of equal length. The width of the bars and the distances between them are also the same. During the visual acuity test, it should be possible to see from a set distance where the open side of the E-hook is. To do this, the display fork can be turned by the patient in the respective direction.
