Description

The Brief Smell Identification Test (BSIT) of Sensonics is a rapid and effective five minute screening test. This 12-item version of the UPSIT is useful for detecting smell loss quickly. Valuable in population surveys and general workplace studies. This is version B and can be used as an alternative or addition to the regular Brief Smell Identification Test.

Cross-Cultural Smell ID

The odors are well known in most cultures. This version of the test employs the following odorants: Version B employs the following test items: strawberry, licorice, lemon, grass, coconut, rose, paint thinner, banana, pizza, clove, wintergreen, and lime. Percentile norms, based upon 4,000 subjects, are available within the B-SIT Administration Manual.

The test will be delivered in a package of 10 tests. Only available in English. For the international version of the B-SIT click here.

Expiraty date

Please note, all Sensonics smell tests have a shelf life up to 6 months after production. This means that the smell tests have a shelf life of approx. 5-6 months upon delivery. If you need larger quantities over a longer period of time, please contact us for a quote. We can then split the order into several deliveries so that you always use valid smell tests.
